Prof. Ranya Saad Obtained her first BFA in fine arts from Helwan University in Egypt in 1999. In 2015 she obtained her second BFA of art education and educational psychology with distinction from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. This was followed by MA degree in 2017 focusing on storytelling and personal histories of the intergenerational traumas of diaspora, immigration, and sense of belonging.
Lina Rahouma Nutritionist
Professionally I am a nutritionist. But what does that really mean? In short, it means that I am extremely passionate about supporting clients gain a deeper understanding of how to nourish their bodies based on their individual needs, while taking into account all the social, cultural and economic factors.
I graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a Nutrition Degree. During that time, I gained a wealth of international experience through various projects. A significant one is my research in India, with a partnered university, on women’s health and sanitation practices during the monsoon flooding.
Eric Bugera MSc, CPT, CSCS
Eric is a passionate personal trainer and fitness educator. His curiosity and drive have attracted him to the best qualifications available in his field to better serve you.
His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Kinesiology in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba. Eric has also gained certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a certified personal trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Likewise, he has been successfully certified as a sports nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).
Miriam Patterson C-lAYT
Miriam is a yoga therapist. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and has been a teacher for over 10. She completed her first teacher training with the Sivananda Ashram and completed her second teacher training and her Yoga Therapist Training at Yoga Therapy Toronto.
Miriam has used this training to assist in guiding herself through her own healing journey. She was diagnosed with a sarcoma on her foot in 2008, and the healing practice of yoga was a critical aspect of her healing journey.
