Eric is a passionate personal trainer and fitness educator. His curiosity and drive have attracted him to the best qualifications available in his field to better serve you.

His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Kinesiology in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba. Eric has also gained certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a certified personal trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Likewise, he has been successfully certified as a sports nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).

During his Master’s program, Eric broadened his understanding of muscle building by studying a unique training protocol called blood flow restricted exercise. His project later went on to be published in the European Journal of Applied Physiology, prompting a follow-up review paper on the topic of myokines (exercise immunology) and the role they may play in muscle building.

While active in the academic world, Eric has also remained a prolific personal trainer, accumulating over 10,000 hours of consultations, programming, and 1-on-1 training over the last decade. Eric has successfully assisted countless clients from all walks of life see dramatic improvements in their physical well-being.

Eric has recently married and settled into home life, fully embracing the emergence of online platforms such as NatureCure Clinic. While working from home, Eric is able to find balance between his career and his love of physical exercise, reading, writing and enjoying time with his Wife and new kitten Sock!
